Our Mission
Our mission is to give our clients their dream custom home. Sometimes, that means crafting every detail to the exact specifications of a client’s wishes and bringing the home they see when they close their eyes to life. Other times, we have clients who have a general idea of what they’re looking for, but are looking to iron out the details.
Then, there are those that have absolutely no idea what they want. For them, the process of securing a lender, finding a location, choosing a floor plan, dealing with an architect and inspections, and choosing the details in their custom home like cabinets, flooring, and countertops can be overwhelming. In all three cases, an experienced, helping hand is what they need.
We will work with you from the moment you decide you are ready for a custom home to the moment you get the keys. The most rewarding part of what we do is to see a client come home for the first time. These are more than houses; these are passion projects. We build these houses, but only you can make them a home. We are here to guide you through this process and take care of the details.

CNR Homes is owned and operated by Rachel and Chad Murphy of Mascoutah, Illinois. We have been married since 2002, and have been building custom homes together since 2003. We have three children, two dogs, and eight horses. When we aren’t helping clients into their custom homes, we ride horses and go to rodeos and our kids’ sporting events.
When you build your custom home with CNR Homes, Rachel will go over the planning and details with you, including working with lenders and reviewing floor plans. Your home will be built by Chad and his team of reliable contractors who have worked with CNR Homes for years.

When you choose CNR Homes, you only have to deal with one company to get your dream home. We handle lenders and we handle inspectors and other regulations. We work with an architect to alter our floor plans to fit your needs, and we build your custom home. All you have to do is tell us what you want and we will make it happen.
